We would like to remind licensees of the times when you may buy SSMA cockle bags. They are between 10am and 2pm, Tuesday to Thursday and you should telephone the office before travelling to check that somebody will be available to issue the bags. Please arrange to buy bags in good time as we cannot guarantee that staff will be available to sell bags on any given day; unavailability of SSMA staff to issue cockle bags is not a valid reason for using non SSMA cockle bags and you will be warned or prosecuted should you be found doing so. If you have run out of SSMA cockle bags you may not fish until you have bought more. Finally, you should be aware that we will not be exchanging unused bags from the 2006/07 season so you should consider this when buying bags as the season draws to a close.
